Going into the third live eviction of the season, unless he won the blockbuster, Jason was almost certainly going home. However, as the week went on, Melody began rallying her troops to potentially keep Jason in a scenario where Mallory won the blockbuster, so they can fight back against the other side of the house. Mallory and Lyric -- now known as the Giggle Girls alliance -- were on-board, as was Yash, Drew, and Barrett. Taylor was the one vote they needed -- a vote that would be hard for the week one nominee considering her relationship with LaTrice. 

The scenario discussed the most came to fruition, as Mallory had one more VHS tape in her drop box return than Jason, putting him against the cook of the house in the live eviction vote. In the end, the other side of the house couldn’t pull in Taylor, so they unanimously vote to evict Jason, who not only banged his tea party pot on his way out (and Julie even returned the favor!), but he called out the other side of the house’ gameplay, saying whoever is not with them is going to go down one-by-one.

For the Toolshed alliance, evicting Jason was the ideally outcome. The thing is, that alliance is almost non-existent. Nobody trusts Drew and Barrett anymore. They are now seen as true floaters in the house. It is truly Dee, Devens, Angela, Chuk, Haley, and Kamu vs Mallory, Melody, Lyric, Yash, and LaTrice, with Drew and Barrett being in the middle. I truly believe if Taylor was on board with voting out LaTrice so that side of the house could have two strong competitors in Mallory and Jason, LaTrice would have been the third houseguest evicted by a 7-6 vote.

There’s not really anymore non-spoiler thoughts I had. Jason was a messy player who nobody could trust, but he was right in the fact that he was a number for the minority side of the house. I’m going to spend the rest of this recap discussing the Kamu situation.

I won’t link to it because if you know, you know. I never cared for him personally, but I was rooting for him because he kept my three favorite players (the three reality icons) off the block. Now, I do want him out of the house. Do I think production will remove him? No. It would be unprecedented. Usually production airs on the side of once you are in the house, any news about you outside of the house cannot be held against you since you are isolated from the outside world. With that said, many Big Brother alumni have called on production to remove him. If there is enough backlash, we may be in for an unprecedented situation.

That will be my last comment on the matter unless we learn of more news. For now, let’s get ready for Sunday’s episode, as a fourth head of household will be crowned. Will the minority alliance finally have power in the game, and speaking of power, who will enter the time capsule for a chance to win a power?
