A few months after the release of Jessica Baio’s SACRED album, the singer came back and released SACRED II on April 3, 2026. The album consists of sixteen songs, including eight new tracks and the eight tracks from SACRED. 2. “inferior“

3. “naturally“

4. “permanent“

5. “who you are“

6. “proud of me“

7. “kiss & tell“

8. “video store“

“other side”

“It was high, it was life, it was ecstasy

It was heaven to feel your weight on me”

Everyone who wants to fall in love wants to find someone who will love them until the end of time. It can be hard to find, but some people eventually do. The first track on SACRED II, “other side,” finds Jessica Baio reflecting on her relationship. The song explores themes of love, devotion, and connection. The singer is deeply in love, and in a relationship she knows will last. Everything about her partner and their relationship is important to her. Jessica can see herself being their angel. Their love is unmatched. “other side” is a passionate, dreamy song that reminds us that love can last a lifetime.

The song is perfect for a playlist about longing, destiny, or finding a love that lasts a lifetime.

“inferior”

“I like a challenge and I've always been a good climber

To this mountain, yeah, I'm chained

Most people have moments where they feel inferior, whether they want to admit it or not. Jessica Baio isn't any different. Her song “inferior” reflects on what it’s like to go through feelings of inadequacy. The song explores themes of self-worth, insecurity, and doubt. The singer isn't afraid to acknowledge having imposter syndrome. She has moments where she doesn't feel as if she's good enough. Jessica wonders if things would be different if she were different.  “Inferior” is a vulnerable and relatable song that anyone who deals with imposter syndrome can relate to.

Adding this song to your playlist about perfectionism, internal struggles, or anxiety could remind you that you’re never truly alone.

“natually”

“I'll give you my days, give you all my nights

All of 'em now and in every life”

Love can either flow naturally and come easy, or it can be predictable. It can be a beautiful feeling when it comes to you naturally. Jessica knows what a love like that is like in her song, “naturally.” The song explores themes of love, intimacy, and affection. The singer stays on the train of vulnerability with this one. She shifts from talking about being good enough to talking about the love she shares with her partner. Everything with her partner comes effortlessly. She doesn’t feel like her love is too much or over the top. It feels just right. She loves the feeling she gets with her partner and uses beautiful imagery such as “How the snow kisses the mountains” to compare her love. “naturally” is a tender and intimate song perfect for someone who is in love.

The song fits perfectly on a playlist about the love of your life, the honeymoon phase, or a love that comes easier than most.

“permanent”

“Carved our names on 5th Avenuе

Made a promise you can't undo”

Some people come into our lives temporarily, while others stay forever once they enter it. The same goes with love and relationships. Not all relationships are meant to be permanent. However, those that are can be meaningful in many ways. Jessica knows she has someone who’ll always stay in her corner in “permanent.” The song explores themes of hope, trust, and emotional security. The singer can’t put her finger on it, but there’s something or some things that make her want to let the subject in ways she’s never done with other people. Finding someone who makes you feel like that can be hard to come by, and in this upbeat and euphoric song, it’s an amazing feeling for her.

“permanent” is the type of song that could be added to a playlist about feeling safe in relationships, commitment, or certainty when it comes to love.

“who you are”

“Couldn’t see it ‘til I broke your spell

You were only in love with yourself”

Not every relationship is going to be a good relationship. We wish that every relationship we encounter turns out to be something great and worth being in. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always happen that way. “who you are” is about experiencing a bad relationship with someone. The song explores themes of heartbreak, conflict, and manipulation. The lyrics find Jessica acknowledging the behavior of someone she’s been in a relationship with. They seemed like a good person, but over time she realized they’re toxic. Despite them not being good enough for her, she doesn’t know how to let go because of how they make her feel aside from that. She sings, “Somehow you're in my bloodstream,” painting how they have a pull over her. Eventually, Jessica finds herself accepting their behavior. “who you are” is an intense, yet passionate song.

This song is perfect for a playlist about toxic relationships, late-night vibes, or red flags.

“proud of me”

“Someone that you smile when you think about

Someone that you call when you’re feeling down”

Being proud of oneself is one thing. However, having someone you care about in love say they’re proud of you could be a completely different and euphoric feeling. It can be very validating to know how someone feels. “proud of me” shows the singer telling the person she cherishes how she wants them to feel about her. The song explores themes of growth, vulnerability, and healing. The song is another song where Jessica acknowledges her flaws. However, in this song, she sings about how, while she has flaws, she hopes the person she's singing to can look past them and accept her for who she truly is. She goes further, acknowledging that she has things to work on and wants to do so while hoping the other person is proud of her. “proud of me” is a relaxed ballad with relatable lyrics.

Put this song on a playlist about self-acceptance, motivation, or identity.

“kiss & tell”

“You're a lighter, I'm a cherry bomb

So catch my heart on fire, take me down in flames, oh”

In life sometimes we meet someone who we can’t help but be attracted to in every way, no matter what. Those moments make some want to yell it from the rooftop or, in Jessica Baio’s case, tell others how she feels. She does this in her song “kiss & tell.” The song explores themes of desire, young love, and passion. The singer finds herself on cloud 9 when it comes to who she’s singing to. She knows that they go through the motions and others might have a lot of things to say about her relationship, but that’s the last thing on her mind. She doesn’t bat an eyelash at people who want to voice their opinions, as they don’t matter to her. All that matters is how she and the other person feel in this euphoric song.

A playlist about romance, chemistry, or flirting would serve this song well.

“video store”

“Watch them back, and I never get bored

No, I never get bored, I wanna make more”

Everyone has memories that they’re fond of and can’t get enough of thinking about without getting tired of. “video store,” the last track on the album, finds her reminiscing about memories from her past. The song explores themes of reflection, good times, and romance. The singer takes us down memory lane of a relationship she’s had. She compares memories and experiences that replay in her mind to video stores. She cherishes these moments the way people cherish video stores. “video store” is a cinematic song that gives nothing but nostalgic feelings from start to finish.

This song would be the perfect addition to a playlist about nostalgia, daydreaming, or young love,

Jessica Baio gave her all putting this album together. She gave us relatable and nostalgic tracks as well as songs that remind us that despite relationships having their flaws, they can be beautiful at the end of the day. From these eight songs, my top two favorites are “inferior” and “video store.”
