With no opening act or band accompaniment, his silvery voice commanded the stage of the historic Fox Theatre in Tucson, Arizona, on the evening of September 17 in celebration of Against the Dying of the Light. The unvarnished beauty of González's introspective lyrics, paired with his masterful guitar playing, was a quiet triumph amidst the noise and chaos.
