Joe Hisaishi's three-night engagement at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring the Los Angeles Philharmonic, welcomed more than 50,000 fans for an evening filled with unforgettable classics, including "Water Traveller" (Samurai Kids), "One Summer's Day" (Spirited Away), "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" (Ponyo), and "Merry-Go-Round of Life" (Howl's Moving Castle).
Joined by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Mai Fujisawa, Ariadne Greif, and the California State University Fullerton University Singers, Hisaishi delivered an unforgettable performance that drew fans from across the world. The evening was both nostalgic and emotional while also honoring filmmaker Nobuhiko Obayashi with a dedication of the opening piece, "Water Traveller" (Samurai Kids).
