Mint Field, based out of Playas de Tijuana, Mexico, has officially kicked off their U.S. tour, and they are not here to disappoint. Walking in without expectations, I left thoroughly impressed. 

The set-closing moment alone is worth the price of admission. The band turns away from the crowd, drops to the floor, and lets one of the most powerful instrumental outros carry the room to its end. 

They're on the road through May 29, wrapping up in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium. Don't sleep on this one.
