Mynd Reader - Soundtrack Of Life

Mynd Reader is a roots-rock band featuring acclaimed drummer and band leader, now deft songwriter, Brian Sachs. Sachs’ remarkable second-act story fuels every song, a second chance that is justly deserved. Sachs's near-miss at success with 1990s New York band The Authority, followed by decades away from music — gives the songs their weight. Sachs rediscovered his creative calling decades later, and with Mynd Reader is proving it’s never too late for the redemption of rock and roll. Mynd Reader will release their new EP Sunday Drive, a six-song acoustic EP pairing reworked songs from their self-titled debut with new material. With the EP, they will also release a new music video for focus-track “Soundtrack of Life,” an upbeat, soulful track preaching that life's soundtrack goes on and on, while delving deeper into the themes of mortality and celebration through music. Brian Sachs shared, "This EP came about completely unexpectedly. We never expected to be writing and playing music... after walking away from music for 25 years, Tonin and I came together just because of our love of music. Neither of us were songwriters and we never had any intention of writing songs... simply creating for the joy of creation... and much to our surprise, songs started arriving, telling the story of Love, Joy, Fear, Loss and Loneliness... and what connects us in our humanity. We both never dreamed any of this was possible... Sunday Drive is proof that it's never too late to come home."

Andy Grammer - Don’t Want To Fall In Love

Multi-platinum, Emmy Award-winning artist, podcaster and acclaimed songwriter Andy Grammer releases his sixth studio album, Big Stupid Heart, out today via S-Curve Records / Hollywood Records, capping a milestone week that has him taking over New York, Nashville and more! Tonight, Grammer will celebrate the album’s release at one of the country's most iconic music venues as he will be making his Grand Ole Opry debut. The landmark evening follows appearances in New York City earlier this week, including a moving performance on Live with Kelly and Mark where he performed “All I Want Is You.” Big Stupid Heart, the 13-track collection is a fierce, joyful and deeply sincere defense of optimism, exploring the courage it takes to remain vulnerable, connected and open-hearted after life has given you every reason to close yourself off. Built around sweeping pop arrangements, choral vocals, soaring hooks and the cello-driven sound Grammer has spent years searching for, Big Stupid Heart examines grief, family, romantic love, resilience and connection through one central idea: choosing love even when you know exactly how much it can cost. Of the new album, Grammer says, “I wanted to make a record that feels like permission to care deeply again. Big Stupid Heart celebrates the kind of people who refuse to let heartbreak make them cynical. Honestly this is a daily battle for me, it’s my anti cynicism battle cry. “

Kabbel - Fiction Clouds

Kabbel today shared the anthemic “Fiction Clouds,” the latest single previewing his debut LP, When The War Is Over, due out October 30th. “Fiction Clouds” serves to deepen and expand KABBEL’s signature “queer sadcore” genre explored across the bold debut LP. Hoepffner explains: “This song is about minority stress, which in my case concerns the LGBTQ+ community. It’s about the anxiety felt around potential or lived discrimination, rejection, or bullying. The stress becomes so internalized that it turns into constant paranoia. Sonically, the song lets this tension drive until the end, with a nocturnal ‘80s synth pop production on steroids. I wanted it to feel like a dangerous dance.” Of the surreal video, Hoepffner explains: "The video for 'Fiction Clouds' expands the paranoia induced by LGBTQ+ minority stress into a short-film sequence. A younger KABBEL-doppelganger is caught in a liminal loop prison, exchanging his life with his older-self, while his own band members seem to hold him hostage of the situation. Directed by cinematographer Corentin Schieb (Alcest, The Ocean, Sierra Veins…), this mental purgatory dives into the liminal blue aesthetic, where dream and reality seamlessly blend like a David Lynch fever dream."

Land Of Talk - Dogs b/w Cats

Land of Talk–the Montreal-based project of Lizzie Powell–today shared a double single, ‘Dogs b/w Cats,’ from their forthcoming sixth album, LASTS, out November 13, 2026, via Saddle Creek. With “Dogs,” Powell tried to write a song that sounds the way listening to The Cure makes them feel. “I wasn’t sure exactly what that meant, but was thinking it would lend itself to looking back on loves lost, yearning, regret. What came out was a simmering rage borne from living under the patriarchy,” they say. The result is a menacing groove interwoven with exploratory, carefree guitar lines and a crisp, seething vocal that ties it all together. Grounded by a grooving, hooky bassline, “Cats,” meanwhile, is punctuated by keyboard flourishes and playful percussive interjections. “When I listened back to the finished track,” says Powell, “I found those parts unintentionally sounded not unlike mischievous cats breaking into our studio after hours and jumping all over the instruments.” The song's lyrics are the result of letting the creative tap flow freely. “What happened lyrically was almost out of my control,” they explain. “I don't always know or understand what my songs are about until years later, but I know for certain every song I write is a deeply personal and sacred process and offering.”

They also shared the EP’s standout lead single “My God,” which sees them level up their dynamic sound as tightly woven guitars and an intoxicating groove build to an emotionally charged chorus. “This song is about being in a vulnerable state at the end of a relationship, where you’re sort of quietly bewildered by what you’ve just been through, and you feel willing to destroy whatever is necessary to make space for a new way of being,” Walker reflects. “It was our first time allowing ourselves to record a song quickly without leaving time to overthink, which defined the new direction our creative process is going in.”

Winona Fighter - Leech

Following a whirlwind 2025 that included the release of their critically acclaimed debut album My Apologies to The Chef, rising punk group Winona Fighter shows no signs of slowing down. Brutal & Extremely Underrated is set to be released on January 22, 2027. Shares guitarist Dan Fuson: “On this record I think we as a band gelled more than we ever have and made space for each other while still elevating each song. The goal of serving each tune was always in mind and we hit the fricking bullseye.” “I f***ing love this record and I love that I got to make it (once again) DIY in a garage with my two favorite people,” adds front woman Coco Kinnon. “I especially love that we get to give our fans and new listeners something real in a world of slop.” Concludes bassist Austin Luther: “In true Winona Fighter fashion, we put our blood, sweat, and tears into the making of this record. Katrina Ford - To The Lighthouse

Katrina Ford today has shared her new single "To The Lighthouse," from her new LP To The Lighthouse, due out October 30th. The sensational, arresting track follows album singles "Winter Sun" and "Transcending," which have earned praise and support from Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, FLOOD Magazine, Northern Transmissions, and more. The LP sees Ford sharpening her soulful, left-of-center psychedelic pop. Inspired by Virginia Woolf's novel of the same name, "To the Lighthouse" is about relationships through the passage of time. As in the novel, the beacon of the lighthouse is always looming and punctuating the ever-ticking procrastination of promises not kept. The linger of things thought and not said against the dramatic backdrop of weather. "Even when looking out the window the brain is a Time Machine," Ford explains. "The body as a vehicle through sensory input and collective experience can simultaneously straddle the world of the physical now and the memory of other times.  I feel like I’m fighting the weather with high kicks, here paying homage to Siouxsie Sioux, with a hut! Hut!"

N8NOFACE - Dig Up Your Grave

N8NOFACE’s ode to love, “Dig Up Your Grave,” is out now, and is the fourth single from his new album Tomorrow’s World, out today. Tomorrow’s World imagines the changes the future holds, but “Dig Up Your Grave” offers the answer of what remains: love. N8 was inspired to write the synth-punk ballad after reading an article about an elderly man who had lost his wife and couldn’t bear to be apart from her, so ended up digging up her grave twice to bring her home. Eventually, when it happened a third time the police went to his home – and found him dead laying beside her. In N8’s own words, “It just stuck with me. I'm a sucker for love.” Tomorrow’s World’s title is taken from the 70s British TV show of the same name, which explored emerging technology and science. N8 discovered a clip of Kraftwerk appearing on the program and learned how they broke the band to a wider audience. It felt like the perfect name for the album, which he says  “imagines what the punks and the street kids might be listening to in 2077.”

Aubrie Sellers - Prototype

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Aubrie Sellers announced the release of two new stripped-back singles: “Prototype (Close-Up Version),” out this Friday, October 16, and “Delusional (Close-Up Version),” out Friday, November 6. Both reimagined songs are intimate, stripped-back versions of album tracks from Sellers’ latest project, Attachment Theory (released March 20, 2026, on Casual Records | Carnival Records). With these fresh POVs, the tunes’ introspective depth takes center stage. “Doing a close-up version of these songs allowed me to change the emotional perspective and strip them down to the bare emotions,” shares Aubrie Sellers. “When you take away some of the cinematic elements, you’re left with vulnerability. I liked the idea of hearing these songs with nowhere to hide, especially since the theme of the record is attachment and relationships.”

Golden Boy - Fell In Love

Today, visionary singer-songwriter Boy Golden released a new deluxe version of his critically acclaimed album Best of Our Possible Lives via Six Shooter Records. The release comes fresh off his standout performance at the Americana Honors & Awards, where Boy Golden undeniably secured his place as one of the breakout discoveries of 2026 with The Tennessean praising his “unapologetic non-conformity and irreverent songwriting.” On the track, Boy Golden shared, “This song came together with the help of my dear friend and collaborator Cat Clyde. I had written a verse, a half, and the chorus, and then we finished the song together, and made a loud and loose demo on my Tascam 388 tape machine. We kept the feeling of this one lively, in the studio, Austin and I traded instruments until we were happy with it, added fiddle, and then Cat’s vocals.”

New Vision - SPICE

Try to take a step back and look at everything, do what scares you,” shares lead vocalist Nico Caro. When speaking on the album announcement, the band shared, “finally getting to put out this record is awesome. We've had it for a little while and can't believe it's almost here. We worked hard on each and every track and wanted to show the new era of New Vision that's closer to how we want to sound and how we feel now. Every record is ever changing for us, but this vibe for us is definitely where we want to stay and grow from.”

Sam Tabor - Bleed Me Dry

The indie singer-songwriter and content creator Sam Tabor will release the official music video for his latest single “Bleed Me Dry,” featuring fellow YouTuber Chad Chad. Using vampiric imagery, the song invites listeners on a journey of surrender and obsession, exploring a devotion so consuming it borders on self-destruction. Sam Tabor shares their thoughts on the new track below: “On the surface, ‘Bleed Me Dry’ seems to be a vampire song, but I also see it as being about that feeling of giving yourself completely to one person. Like, you’re so wrapped up in them that you’d let everything else fall apart and let them completely ‘bleed you dry,’ because being with them feels like the only thing that matters.”
