Shakey Graves has been making music for just shy of 20 years. With his new album Fondness, etc. coming out May 15, drawing elements from his early music career, it’s a perfect time to get back to his roots as a performer by playing as a one-man band on his solo tour.

On April 20, 2026, the tour stopped in one of its few selected cities: Tucson, Arizona, at the restored former Benedictine Monastery chapel, now a unique music venue called La Rosa. Tucson has a special place in the hearts of fans of Mr. Alejandro Graves, as his shows are always packed and almost always sold out every time he rolls through town. Monday was no exception. The crowd danced, cheered, laughed at the irony of being in an old church, and sang along, bedazzled by one of their favorite gems.

It is always a pleasure to witness a master of their craft, and although many are inspired by him, few do it quite like Shakey Graves.
