After a couple weeks of muddy waters, the three reality icons of Big Brother (BB) 28 are back in power after Dee ran across the balance beams in 50 seconds. The icons being in power is bad for three people in the house: Lala, Taylor, and Yash.

On the surface, it seemed like those three would be locked in to go up on the block. Through Drew and Barrett, the icons heard about the meeting Lala had in her HOH about two of the icons needing to go before jury. Taylor is associated with Lala, and Yash put Dee up on the block last week. Haley would be the other option, but the icons want to see if they can repair that relationship now that Chuk and Kamu are in the real world.

Speaking of Kamu, Lala was the only one who voted for him to stay Thursday night, causing her to have a post-eviction meltdown. Doing everything she can to stay off the block, she rats out Drew -- who is still seen as the guy playing both sides of the house by everyone -- to the head of household (HOH). Lala blames the meeting of the icons during her HOH on him, which makes Dee question what Drew was doing in the HOH room with Kamu and Yash during the latter’s HOH and if he really trusts her.

Dee pulls in the other icons. There’s now a thought of putting Drew up on the block. However, in order to do so, it’s a multi-step process:

  1. Use the BB bribe power Dee has to bribe Yash into not putting any of the icons up the next time he wins HOH. Yash does agree to the bribe.
  2. Call a meeting with the Moshpit. Call Drew out on playing both sides of the house, and if he denies it, bring in Yash to confirm what happened during the first night of his HOH since Yash now has no incentive to lie and felt burned by Drew not giving him a heads up that his No. 1 -- Kamu -- was going home.
  3. Have Dee meet with Barrett privately and ask if it’s okay to put Drew up. Barrett reluctantly agrees.

With the plan set in motion, Drew -- already feeling more worried than he ever thought he would be with his alliance member in power -- confides to Dee that he just won the never-not pass power, which means he cannot be a have-not for the rest of the season. He knows it’s a useless power, but he tries to use it to tell Dee that everybody who entered the time capsule during the past six weeks (Angela, Devens, Dee, Melody, Mallory, Drew) are all working together, which means America likes him. The HOH doesn’t care about what America thinks right now; she cares about why Drew didn’t defend her or Angela against Yash during his HOH, and that’s why he finds himself on the block. 

Towards the end of the episode, Lala, Taylor, and Drew get into it after Dee mentions at the nomination ceremony she’s putting all three of them up because her name had been thrown out by all three. Drew claims Lala and Taylor both said Dee’s name to him, and the former’s push back by calling the dental assistant a liar. It’s another blowup that we’ll have to wait till Wednesday to see the outcome.

Non spoiler thoughts

  • Is the Crossovers dead? Is the Moshpit dead? What alliance of more than two (besides the icons and F.A.P.) isn’t dead?!
  • Do the icons really trust Haley enough to come back to them that they’re willing to potentially damage their relationship with F.A.P. all together?
  • Nobody respects Lala’s game.
  • By accepting the bribe, Yash all but gave himself a ticket to the jury house, a good move for him considering he might have been evicted this week if he did not accept the terms. The bribe also buys the icons some time and *almost* a spot in the jury, depending on how this next HOH goes.
