When we last left the houseguests Sunday night, Barrett had a huge decision to make. Does he do the icons’ bidding and put Taylor with Lala in the last competition against Haley or does he send in Yash to give the latter the opportunity to evict Haley?

In the end, Barrett double-crosses his “allies”, and Yash stacks his puzzle pieces faster than the person who had battled in three previous competitions before, sending the Red Corner alliance all out before the jury stage.

With Haley gone, the head of household (HOH) for the icons is vital. They think the house is now a 4 v 4 battle between the Crossovers and the other side, completely unaware that Barrett would flip on them and put up all three reality tv legends if he were to gain power.

Before the HOH competition, Zingbot made his contractual obligated appearance of the season, roasting the houseguests for their appearances and their love lives before transporting to the 1800s for the HOH competition, which was a memory true/false competition based off videos of Zingbot’s travels. In the end, Drew outlasts Yash and Melody, winning his first HOH of the season.

With Drew in power, Yash, Lala, and Taylor know they are going to be the nominations. Yash knows he can win the veto, which means Drew would have to put up either the icons, Barrett, or Melody as his replacement nominee. That’s exactly what happened, as Yash executes the ball in the scooper teeter totter challenge as flawless as possible, pulling himself off the block. As for the renom, Drew does not want to put up Melody. The two have feelings for each other, but they are on completely opposite sides of the house, so he feels he needs to earn her trust. Barrett is his ride-or-die, so which icon should go up? Angela’s not really a threat. Devens did volunteer to go up on the block, but Dee did nominate him last week, and she is a former winner of a competition show.

In the end, for the first time this season, Devens is on the block. “Daddy Devens” and Drew think he has the votes to stay. Sadly, he is mistaken.

Non spoiler thoughts

  • At the end of Rome’s eviction in Week 2, if you would have told me Haley, Chuk, and Kamu were all evicted before the jury, I would have told you your crazy. Haley finally experienced a bad day. She couldn’t even say goodbye to her fellow houseguests.
  • How have the icons not figured out Barrett is against them after he sent in Yash instead of Taylor?! How blind can they be?!
  • Devens, if you were going to volunteer yourself, do it with bigger numbers!
  • Why didn't Drew put up Dee instead of Devens as an initial nom and backdoor Yash if he was truly his target?!
  • Melody and Drew have one of the weirdest game relationships I've seen in a long time.
  • What has gotten into Barrett?! He went from in the best position in the house to almost blowing up his game, all because of Mallory?! How has Drew not seen this?!
  • If Devens is evicted tonight, Dee will probably be next. I can see Angela lasting until the final five. If an icon is the first member of the jury, Yash has a super highway to the end of the game with Lala and Taylor.
