Lala was sent to the jury by a 4-2 vote. It is public knowledge that Angela through Lala a sympathy vote, so the question before the head of household (HOH) contest begins is: Who was the other vote for Lala?

Drew and Devens believe it is Yash. They know Barrett voted out Lala. They still believe Barrett is with them. Drew does throw out the possability of Dee, and Devens believes it could have been. He confronted his No. 1 alley, who vehemently makes it known she voted to evict the 58-year-old and is upset with Devens that he would question her.

There are more cracks in the Survivor duo, as Dee confirms to the diary room (DR) that she does not want Devens, Drew, or Barrett winning HOH. She wants to split that trio up because she believes Devens would take the boys to the end over her and Angela, which even she admits he should.

The HOH comp featured players rolling a ball down a track with different colored spots, equalling the seven colors of the rainbow. If you landed a ball in a color that was already taken, you had to reset. Taking place on the first St. Patrick’s Day in history on March 17, 1601, Barrett secures the power.

In DR, all three icons admit they believe they’re safe for the week. In Dee’s case, while she’s not happy about the Barrett, Drew, and Devens trio, at least the icons should all be safe this week, and the target should be Yash.

What the icons doesn’t know is Barrett already knows his plan: Put up all three icons. He immediately tells Drew and Melody they are 100% safe, and as for the others, it could get tricky. Drew doesn’t believe Barrett would totally 100% turn on the Crossovers and thinks he’s putting up Yash, Taylor, and one icon (probably Devens). 

To his credit, Barrett does tell Devens his plan indirectly by telling him the icons are a trio, and that it’s time for him to make a move. With this information, we see Devens outside trying to tell Angela that she should not feel secure. Angela and Devens get into a mini spat because Angela cannot believe Barrett would turn on the alliance he formed Day 2 to work with people he hasn’t worked with at all, just to get out one icon. He would burn too many bridges with the jury. 

Angela pulls the HOH into the gym, and he does tell her directly his plan. Barrett is a little heartbroken because he knows Angela is an emotional player, but he doesn’t care that much, and that’s the reason all three icons are going up on the block. He believes the icons have an unbreakable bond and would take each other to the end more than him (bad read, Barrett!).  After her talk with the HOH, Angela finds Dee outside and lets her know.

So after all this in-fighting, the icons all get together and realize what is happening, and that Barrett has been planning this for a while. However, they have one secret weapon: Dee’s BB Bribe. With everybody else in the house in the HOH room, the icons let the house know the true terms of the bribe: Yash cannot put up any icon (even if Dee is evicted) during his next HOH unless he mathematically has to. Yash tries to lie about the power, but under the rules of the bribe, Dee cannot lie. The power is binding.

Barrett doesn’t believe the icons. He thinks they are just using the power as a bargaining chip to get one of them taken off the block. In the end, all three icons go up, and in order to save themselves, one of them must win BB Comics on Wednesday in the power of veto competition, one of them must win blockbuster on Thursday, and the other must get three votes to stay, as five people will be voting this week.

Non spoiler thoughts

  • That was wrong of Devens to question why Dee would lie about her vote on eviction night. What gain does she have by lying about Lala vs Taylor? I can see where Dee would get paranoid. 
  • Barrett has wanted to dismantle the Crossovers for a long time. Now that he’s done it, is his game sunk no matter who leaves the house?
  • Is Angela upset over the fact she is viewed as easily the least threatening icon, even though she’s the only one that’s played Big Brother before?
  • Melody is taking her vote to evict Taylor on eviction night to the grave. Blaming it all on Yash is a smart move, and with her and Drew not in danger this week, will there game and personal relationship grow stronger?
