With Yash keeping Barrett’s nominations the same, we knew going into this live eviction episode an icon was leaving the house. On the surface, Angela’s threat level is the lowest between the two Survivor’s, but as Taylor told Yash in the gym, “Not being a threat is a threat.”

Dee and Devens’ campaign to stay is simple: Yash cannot put them up because of the bribe. Taylor and Yash need them back in the house to take the shot at the trio of Melody, Barrett, and Drew because they can win comps, and Angela has only won one blockbuster this season. If it’s Dee and Devens on the block together, the worry is Devens could easily amend his relationship with Drew and Barrett because that’s what boys do.

At the end of the day, Devens puts together his puzzle in the blockbuster the fastest and takes himself off the block. Before they even give their one brief statement, Dee begins campaigning to Yash and Taylor again, not at the expense of Angela, but for herself.

Both icons gave iconic brief statements, and the newbies vote. Dee’s pitch to Yash and Taylor was successful, as they keep Dee and send the Big Brother (BB) 26 player to the jury with her girlfriend Lala. Barrett feels like his HOH is a waist, as both Survivor’s are still in the house. Not only that, but Drew and Melody showed their cards, aligning with Barrett in an unsuccessful attempt to eliminate Dee.

Angela is very appreciative that she was given a second chance to play a game she loves. She doesn’t blame Yash and Taylor for voting her out. Quite the opposite actually; she calls it the smart move because she knows she could have politicked her way to the end with her icon besties and beaten Dee at the end. She is not a fan of Barrett and thinks there’s no chance of Drew and Melody working outside the house!

Non spoiler thoughts

  • Barrett’s plan three weeks in a row has been ruined by the blockbuster. First, Drew wins over Mallory and Taylor, and the Pipe Queen went out the door. Then, Devens survives against Taylor and Lala, so he can’t blindside Devens. This week, he takes the power into his own hands, winning the head of household. He puts up all three icons, and the veto is not used, but the house flips on him and sends the icon he was targeting the least out of the house. 
  • Drew and Melody better get on the same page game wise fast because Dee and Devens are both coming for them, along with Barrett. This bromance between Devens, Barrett, and Drew is over, and the ceasefire was never real, Melody!
  • Maybe now the house realizes how Dee won Survivor 45. She is an amazing campaigner. 
  • I’m happy Angela is happy on how her game went this time, and she had a heck of a time strategizing and scheming with other legends. She genuinely loves most people in the house and wanted to take The Crossovers as far as she could.
