Ashley, Yash, or Taylor. One of them was leaving the Big Brother (BB) house after nine days. One of them would save themselves from eviction with the BB blockbuster, #ButFirst, Angela was still dealing with the aftermath of the episode that aired 24 hours ago where she found out Jason was playing her from Drew. Anytime we get an Angela diary room where she is emotional, it’s must-see television.
Before we get to the blockbuster, each house guest presents their case to not only the other houseguests throughout the house, but the fans as well:
- Ashley: She’s floating through the house and can be used as a number.
- Yash: He’s a strong competitor, and if he leaves, the boys numbers go from seven to six, with nine girls remaining.
- Taylor: She’s made good relationships with everyone in the house and hasn’t caused any drama.
The Crossovers believe Ashley is the best to keep, and they reveal this information to her in the backyard, so believing she is safe, she tells Melody her whole plan. Melody reveals this information to Drew and Barrett – unknowing they are part of the major alliance. This causes Ashley’s status to now be in major jeopardy.
As this is going on, Angela notices Rome is calling people up to the gym, and that group doesn’t include her, so she gets the Crossovers and Red Corner alliances together to make the best decision for everyone’s game.
As for the blockbuster, Yash rightfully corrects Mallory as the houseguest that appeared most on the screens. Ashley and Taylor guess Devens (as did I). After a weird last-minute speech that involved talking about snacks, and Drew catching an eviction stray from Kamu, Ashley was evicted unanimously from the house, and after she leaves, I don’t think she still knows what she did wrong.
BB Host Julie Chen Mooves reveals the time capsule twist to the houseguests before departing for the night. On Sunday, the second head of household (HOH) will be crowned, but if you’re watching on feeds, the HOH is already know, and let’s just say it was a longgggg night (you’ll find out Sunday).

Non-spoiler thoughts
- Ashley never stood a chance in the house. Sadly for her, she missed out on the first HOH, she didn’t get a chance to play the veto, and she never formed any true relationships in the house. At least she had her first cheeseburger while in the house. She can hold that to her name forever.
- It took a week, but there is now essentially two sides to the house. Side one is the Crossovers and Red Corner alliances while side two includes Rome, Jason, Lyric, Lala, Taylor, Yash, Melody, and Mallory. Rome, Lala, and Jason formed a Mama Angela’s alliance that seems strong.
- Still no mention of another perceived showmance in the house.
