Good Kid’s show honestly blew me away. I love when performers really interact with the crowd, and they absolutely delivered. At one point, they even brought two fans on stage to play Guitar Hero to a song the audience picked, something I have never seen before.

I’ve also never seen that many crowd surfers in my life. Even before Good Kid took the stage at the Masonic Temple on April 12th, they set the tone by rolling out a “Retention Cam,” basically a TV looping chaotic, brain-rot-style clips, but in the best way. The whole crowd was laughing and cheering together. It was hilarious.

Good Kid doesn’t just have catchy songs, they have a live energy that really connects. Their bassist, Michael Kozakov, even played multiple songs from inside the pit, which just added to the chaos and excitement. On top of that, the entire band showed up in outstanding outfits that made the performance even more memorable.

They checked every box for me when it comes to a live show. This will easily go down as one of my favorite shows I’ve ever shot, and I can’t wait to see them again.
