Niko Moon - American Dreamin’
Today, multi-platinum country artist and songwriter Niko Moon releases his reflective new song “AMERICAN DREAMIN’,” the latest and last song to be released before his forthcoming album ROOTS, due July 17 via EMPIRE. Premiered earlier this week by Holler, the track “AMERICAN DREAMIN” looks back on the family, hard work, resilience and optimism that shaped Moon’s life and the deeply personal new chapter he is sharing on ROOTS. Built on swampy country textures, Moon’s staccato hip-hop delivery and the genre-blending instincts that have defined the ROOTS era, “AMERICAN DREAMIN’” tells the story of his childhood with honesty and gratitude. Moon grew up moving often with his family, from trailers to extended-stay motels before eventually settling into a house when he was in high school. His father drove trucks, his mother waited tables after having Moon at just 18 years old, and through every lean season, they gave him his first example of what choosing hope in the face of adversity could look like. “My parents were the first example of what positivity looked like to me,” Moon says. “It’s easy to be positive when life is going smooth, but when you’re facing adversity and still choose optimism, that makes a mark on a kid. And it did for me. ‘AMERICAN DREAMIN’’ is a song about my life.”
Selfish Things - Violence
Alt rockers Selfish Things are excited to share “Violence (feat. Mike Froh)”, the latest single from their highly anticipated new album, Receptivity, set for release on October 9, 2026, via FLG. Watch the brand new music video, featuring Mike Froh of the metalcore band The Holly Springs Disaster, here. Alex Biro stated: “‘Violence’ was one of the last songs I’d written before rehab. When we approached it years later, the song felt more like a foreshadowing than it did a meditation on what it means to confront yourself. The second verse houses the belief that you lose all ego and persona when you die and are given the impartial and eye-opening choice as to whether or not you proceed into the afterlife. That your decisions are played back to you without the benefit of ego or maladaptive self-perception. “To have Mike Froh on it, a wonderful friend in recovery who changed all of our lives through his music in high school and then many more in his work as a leader in the recovery community, is one of the greatest moments of my life musically,” he continued. Pre-Order the band’s new album Receptivity here. Receptivity is a raw and unflinching portrait of frontman Alex Biro’s reckoning with collapse and recovery. Born from the ashes of a life derailed - years of relentless touring, addiction, and the stillness of a pandemic that forced reflection – Receptivity is both a lifeline and a rebirth.
Crown The Empire - Raw
Los Angeles-based two-piece Crown the Empire released their new haunting single “raw” with Rise Records. Directed by B.K. Barone, the music video for the track finds Andy Leo and Brandon Hoover delivering a moody, atmospheric performance in the back of a freezer truck leaning into the raw, visceral tension the song demands. This new track marks another step forward into the band’s ever-evolving sound. Blending driving rock energy with a hypnotic groove, the track explores the intensity of connection, desire, and the moments that unfold between two people. "'Raw' is the first step into the final form of Crown The Empire, taking everything we’ve learned from the emo alt rock space, and reinventing ourselves yet again in what’s our most ambitious project to date. We loved making this song and we hope y’all enjoy it too."
As It Is - Live, Laugh, Love, Los Angeles
Transatlantic pop-rock quartet As It Is is currently gearing up for the release of their self-titled fifth studio album, due out July 17th. Earlier this month the band treated fans to “Live, Laugh, Love, Los Angeles”, a soulful track boasting soaring hooks and vibrant horns.
Arcadian Wild - Spinnin’
Their fourth and most enthralling album yet, Make It Out Alive is a celebration of hope, love, and joy in the face of overcoming personal loss and emotional upheaval. Having now surpassed the ten year marker as a band, it also finds the trio in the midst of a creative reformation, as they co-wrote all the songs collectively for the first time, as well as worked with an outside producer for the first time. Make It Out Alive transforms the ache of loss into a stunning work of resilience and gratitude, one rooted in a profound appreciation for the fragile humanity that binds us all in this life and beyond. The recordings are lush and expansive, stepping beyond the limitations of live performance to craft an immersive, densely layered soundscape that blurs the lines between folk, country, bluegrass, choral, and pop music. The result is an album that embraces our mortality as a gift, a cathartic, deeply personal reckoning with life’s impermanence that learns to find purpose and meaning in sorrow and mourning.
Randall Webb - Pittsburgh
”Pittsburgh” is a moody scheme that highlights the ruminative vibes that Webb’s vocals bring to a world-weary tune. “Pittsburgh” was written by long-time Webb collaborator Pat Courtemanche, who also plays guitars and keyboards on the track. The drummer is Harry Wilkinson of Nashville. Randall Webb is a standard bearer in the Minneapolis/St. Paul acoustic music scene. This singer and guitarist is known for his many years as co-leader of the Front Porch Swingin’ Liquor Pigs. The band, which has carried on for more than 25 years, is an institution in the legendary music scene of the “West Bank” neighborhood in Minneapolis. Randall Webb’s 2026 release of the single “Pittsburgh” marks the solo recording debut of this journeyman musician.
Billy Strings - Burn The Other End
3x Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Billy Strings will release his highly anticipated new album, So Much for Goodbyes, due August 28 via Reprise Records. Ahead of the release, Strings unveils a new song from the project, “Burn the Other End” (written by Strings and Paul Hoffman) today—watch the official music video HERE. “I made this record to honor my mother,” Strings shares. “To notice and embrace this very significant period of grief in my life and make art from it. To turn my heartbreak into songs while using my guitar as a coping mechanism as I always have. It’s always been there for me to lean on through the hard times, and I figure it always will…until it’s my time to say goodbye.”
Christina Perri - Jar of Hearts (Epic Version)
Christina Perri releases a newly mixed version of “jar of hearts (epic version)” produced by Rob Cavallo. Today marks the 16th anniversary of the song’s debut, celebrated alongside a brand-new rock mix by legendary producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, Paramore). It officially hits a new milestone with a 7x platinum RIAA certification, alongside her iconic track “a thousand years,” which simultaneously reaches an unprecedented 13x platinum status as a certified Diamond hit. The album launches alongside lovestrong. 15, an acoustic YouTube series revisiting the record in full for the first time since its initial release. Half of the project is available to stream now—including “arms,”
Andre Cymone - THE REVOLUTION’S ON YO’ IN “O” NET
Andre Cymone is very pleased to announce that his new LP The Resurrection of Funk will be released this August. A bold declaration that a seemingly abandoned genre has been reborn, Cymone is redefining his space in the Funkmosphere (in much the same way he and his earliest collaborator Prince did with The Minneapolis Sound). Cymone once again breaks new ground with his own style of bass playing, as a colorful character known as The Funk Forecaster guides listeners through a journey into the world of Funk. With all songs written, performed and played by Cymone himself, this collection of tracks is as musically pure and concentrated as it gets.
