Co-produced by Paul and DJ OOOCHILD. The new single features bars by Happy Qavah and donSMITH, alongside Keenyn Omari’s flute and Dezron Douglas’ bass.
Ruthie Foster - Yes
Austin-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Ruthie Foster will release her new studio album Just Say Yes, following last year’s Mileage, which won Foster her first-ever GRAMMY Award. Produced by Tyler Bryant (of The Shakedown) and his wife Rebecca Lovell (of Larkin Poe), the 10-track LP spans soul, roots, rock, and blues. Her boldest chapter yet, Just Say Yes is out Friday on Sun Records. A fearless, soul-stirring statement from one of music’s most vital voices, Just Say Yes finds the blues powerhouse fully embracing all of life’s offerings: connections, celebrations, and challenges. Also out today is the video for the infectious focus track "Yes," which serves as an exhilarating invitation for listeners to do the same, with Foster preaching, “When life comes knocking, asking is anybody home? You better say YES.” Produced in Nashville by Tyler Bryant, the album was co-written alongside Bryant, Rebecca Lovell, Lovell’s sister and Larkin Poe collaborator Megan Lovell, and her husband, Mike Seal. The eclectic album depicts Foster living life in all its complexity. Navigating her life experiences as they come, she sees both obstacles and opportunities as catalysts for growth, transformation, and forward motion.
CMAT - Euro-Country
CMAT will mark the one-year anniversary of her Ivor- and Choice-winning, Mercury Prize-shortlisted EURO-COUNTRY... with the release of four live songs from the album! Recorded with The Very Sexy CMAT Band at their 20,000-capacity headliner at St Anne’s Park in Dublin, EURO-COUNTRY (Live at St Anne's) captures the energy, humour, and infectious joy that confirm the Dunboyne Diana as one of this era's standout live acts. Irish pop sensation CMAT, broke into the US public consciousness this year with a marked rapid ascent that follow the critically acclaimed 2025 release of EURO-COUNTRY, her album blending pop, folk, country, and indie rock, which explored themes as wide-ranging as Irish economics, to the experience of being a woman in the music industry. Since the album’s release, CMAT has garnered almost 300M streams and experienced a major viral moment with her single "Take a Sexy Picture of Me," alongside a litany of co-signs from artists like Brandi Carlile, who called her a "once in every 500 years star"; Olivia Rodrigo, who covered her song "When a Good Man Cries" on BBC Radio 1; and Elton John, Robyn, Hayley Williams, and Marcus Mumford, who have all proclaimed themselves fans. Her growing audience has been drawn to her artistic integrity, classic songwriting, singular sense of humor, and unshakable commitment to blending maximalist pop music with country and folk storytelling and instrumentation.
Ian Noe - Leeann
“Leeann,” Ian’s second single from the forthcoming record, is a lovelorn ballad evoking classic country nostalgia with lush harmonies and twangy, flowing steel guitar. Canyon Falls Trailer Band is an expansive, 16-song concept album drawing on sonic influences from pensive singer-songwriters to folk-rock, country-rock, and true-blue honky tonk and hard country. The double album imagines a fictional group, Canyon Falls Trailer Band, that performs a legendary showcase in Nashville in an attempt to secure a recording contract. As Noe tells it, on that night, the imaginary band expertly performed in a range of genres in an attempt to entice music industry executives. Whether the band succeeded is left unanswered. Instead, their performance became part of the mythology at the center of the record. Though Canyon Falls Trailer Band disappeared from public view after that night, and their fate remains unknown, their unforgettable performance remains the stuff of music legend.
Jonah Kagen - Don’t Feel Right
Today, acclaimed singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jonah Kagen announces his sophomore album, Eternity of Anything, arriving October 30 via Arista Records. Alongside the announcement, Kagen releases the album’s powerful first single, “Don’t Feel Right,” a dark, restless introduction to a record that pushes his songwriting toward a grander scale, pairing grittier production and unexpected sonic choices with songs built to fill stadiums, all while exploring one of life’s most overwhelming concepts: love in all its forms. “For my first album, I was moving through the world and writing down what happened. This time, I stopped moving and had to pull the songs out of myself,” says Kagen. “Eternity of Anything is about being intimidated by the size of love, the beginning of it, the ending of it, the absence of it, and all the ways it can make you spiral. It is dramatic on purpose, but it is also me making fun of my own drama.”
Max McNown - Comets
Following the recent album announcement for Max McNown’s forthcoming third studio album, Leave On A Light (out September 25 on Fugitive Recordings), the 25-year-old singer-songwriter released the next single “Comets.” Seamlessly blending iconic ‘80s pop elements with folk-inspired production, the feel-good tune is perfect for cruising with the windows down. Following an extraordinary period of momentum, including the completion of his sold-out, continent-hopping headline tour, Leave On A Light channels the whirlwind of McNown’s past few years into songs rooted in gratitude for the relationships that anchor him. Centered on his exquisitely detailed form of indie folk and country soul, the 17-track LP finds him more grounded than ever in his artistic vision, arriving as the fullest expression yet of McNown’s singular songwriting voice.
Catch Your Breath - Dark
Austin-based hard rock group Catch Your Breath will unleash Not Broken Enough, their highly anticipated sophomore album. Featuring recent singles "Blood Money," "Dark," and "[Gen]inside (feat. Kami Kehoe),", the record injects a unique mix of synth soundscaping elements, imaginative production, and refined songwriting for an intense amount of emotion. Their sound pulls from across the modern rock and metal spectrum while still feeling distinctly their own.
Reuben and the Dark - Haven Hill
Reuben and the Dark today shared their soulful, soaring, and meditative new single “Haven Hill” from their forthcoming new album If You Know Me You Know My Brother. “I wrote this song while I was going through a large life shift, maybe you could call it a crisis. It’s been finished since 2017…but it felt so much more like a diary entry than a song. I thought it was a little too personal to just give to the world,” explains frontman and project mastermind Reuben Bullock. “A solo motorcycle trip I took from Montreal to New York, turning around and heading straight back before I even entered the city limits. Following this pendulum heart of mine. Haven Hill is a friend's property in Joshua Tree where I spent a lot of time back then.”
Polyphia - Power in the Blood
The genre-defying instrumental rock innovators Polyphia announce their fifth full-length studio album BE NOT AFRAID out October 23rd with Rise Records. With the news, the band also released their new single from the record “Power in the Blood” with an accompanying music video you can watch HERE. Filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this video finds the band playing against the ornate, gold-leaf Baroque backdrops from the São Francisco da Penitência Church. The powerful visual lays the foundation for what’s to come off the new record, directed by Caleb Young. “Instead of going wide on BE NOT AFRAID, we went as deep as we could,” Henson shares. “There are so many layers to pull back. Every time you listen to it, you’ll notice something new. Thematically, it’s by far the most meaningful record we’ve ever made.”
Gary Marks - Nobody’s Following
Singer-songwriter Gary Marks has released his new single “Nobody’s Following,” an unreleased track originally recorded in 2007. The track features Marks on vocals, guitar and keyboard, Mike Moroney on bass, Greg Donscov on drums, and was mixed by Grammy Award-nominee Mark Needham. This is rock at its best, combining a great rhythm track with powerful lyrics. Sadly, very few voices in rock write songs like this anymore. Of the song "Nobody’s Following," Marks recalls: ”I wrote this song about Bush’s Iraq war, which reminded me of Johnson and Nixon’s lost war in Vietnam, and which is now about Trump’s war with Iran, and his insane environmental policies. Nobody should have followed any of them. All it does is make America look short-sighted and foolish. As Talking Heads once said, ’Same as it ever was.’ But if we admit our mistakes and find real solutions, it doesn’t have to be like this forever."
