Sports Team - Billy

If you hate Tequila Rose, then Sports Team have just the late-summer anthem for you. The Mercury Prize-nominated indie outfit will officially return with their brand-new single “Billy” alongside with a music video. The track takes the melodious, freewheeling indie-soul of 2025’s Boys These Days and adds a jagged rock’n’roll edge, on one of the band’s most enjoyably raucous songs yet. Marking the first release since their acclaimed third studio album dropped in May 2025, the track arrives alongside a hilarious video that features a comically large paper mache head. "It’s a love letter to getting desperately, insanely drunk at a carpeted pub on a Tuesday night," says songwriter Rob Knaggs. "We recorded it live at RAK studios over the first weeks of summer with Seth Evans and Adele Phillips. It felt like a return to how we made the first album. Fast, and loose and loud."

Phillip Phillips - My Dark Places

“My Dark Places” is an important & powerful reflection on mental health for Phillip as he addresses the passing thoughts that can cloud his mind. He sings, “I don’t wanna live without you, all I do is think about the time I’ve wasted in my dark places.” To celebrate the release of the new EP, Let’s Go Far: Vol. 1, Phillip will hit the road this fall, kicking off his Let’s Go Far Tour next week – on September 10 in Dallas, TX. Live Well - IDK 

The wait is over for MORE THAN YOU CAN GIVE, the highly anticipated new EP from emo-punk band Live Well. Consisting of three new songs, “GOOD ONES,” “KIDS,” and latest single “IDK” – originally written six years ago, MORE THAN YOU CAN GIVE marks the band’s first new release since their 2019 debut Perfectly Temporary. “MORE THAN YOU CAN GIVE is made up of songs written 6 years ago,” shares frontman Paul Masbad. “Revisiting them now was like traveling back in time and having a conversation with our past selves. Each song is a representation of who I was, who I am, and who I want to become. It’s the band’s past, present, and future in eight minutes.”

SiM - Hooman After All

Fans around the world can look forward to celebrating SiM’s new album as the band embarks on the HOOMAN AFTER ALL World Tour later this year. Kicking off in September with a handful of Japanese dates, the tour will also stop across North America as well as the UK/EU. Frontman MAH shares: “This album is our full on tribute to the prime era of rock from the late ’90s to early 2000s. It feels fresh, but at the same time, there’s this weird nostalgia running through it. We’re taking this album all over the world, so get ready. See you in the pit!”

Luna Shadow - Gutspill

Luna Shadows is ready to let it all out. On her new single “gutspill,” the Los Angeles-based artist lets her feelings spill out in full color, pairing crunchy Midwest emo-inspired guitars with the dreamy electronic production and layered vocals that have become her signature. “‘Gutspill’ is a song about when you fear your feelings are about to fall out like confetti,” Shadows says. “You can try to hold them in or push them down, but ultimately, it’s more fun to let them out. Do it just for the plot. It’s a crush you can’t confess, an overwhelming emotion you can’t shake. It’s an ode to saying what you mean, even if you have to turn it into poetry and put it in a song.” With “gutspill,” Shadows brings her lifelong relationship with alternative music to the forefront, leaning into a brighter, more playful side of her sound without losing the emotional depth that has long defined her work.

Why? - Story Of My Life

In an unconventional move, WHY? have surprise-released the second half of their forthcoming full-length album ahead of its October 30th release date via Waterlines. The album's bracketed title, Oh Golly / Yes Lord, distinguishes dual phrases that reflect the themes of the LP: an aggrieved sigh versus. harmonious acceptance, or, as Yoni Wolf puts it, "bad attitude vs. good gratitude" ("It's my own way of categorizing my mindset," he notes). WHY? have also announced a fall headlining U.S. tour to celebrate the release across small, non-traditional venues. Promising “a unique version” of their show, the tour includes stops at NYC’s DROM on November 13 and LA’s Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever on December 9.

Sheherazaad - Andhera

“Andhera” is a Bolly-goth pop hymn that follows a vilified lover as she ushers in cosmic darkness, transmuting heartbreak into something vast and mythical. "I wrote ‘Andhera’ after I'd met the love of my life, where for some reason, romantic gloom and obscurity was still bleeding out of me,” Sheherazaad explains. “The song was largely composed in an ex’s coat closet as I tried to keep my volume down lest I interrupted what I felt was his ‘real’ work outside. So I'd sing at the rock bottom of my vocal range, praising feminine darkness and the ancient murky cosmos. It became a frilly goth anthem, with eyeliner running down its cheeks, where the beloved is essentially just the color black."
