Six-time Grammy award winner, Samara Joy took the stage at the ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, on April 2, 2026. Samara was joined by band members, Jason Charos (trumpet), Eli Feingold (trombone), Marty Jaffe (bass), David Mason (saxophone), Kendric McCallister (tenor saxophone/bass clarinet), Connor Rohrer (piano), and Evan Sherman (drums). 

The evening consisted of beautiful arrangements of Duke Ellington pieces, an arrangement of Djvan’s “Flor de lis”, and a wordless original, “Five Stages of Love,” by band member Kendric McCallister. Captivated by her velvet voice, time passed quickly, and before we knew it, our jazz filled evening had come to an end.
