The Band CAMINO is back with another instantly addictive release. “Holly!” arrives as the latest taste of their upcoming album, NeverAlways Vol. 2, officially set for release on May 22. The project serves as a companion to 2025’s NeverAlways, wrapping up a two-part era that has clearly been a long time in the making.

"’NeverAlways Vol. 2’ will close the loop on a project two years in the making. We wrote these 22 songs in the fall of 2024 and it quickly became evident we were making a double album. ‘Holly!’ was a bit of a guilty pleasure for us going in and writing the classic girl’s name song. Ended up being the most fun song on the whole project. And quite obviously the song of the summer." - JEFFREYJORDAN

And honestly, it’s hard to argue with that.

The track is everything you want from a summer anthem. Built around bright guitar work, infectious melodies, and a chorus made for shouting with the windows down, “Holly!” feels playful, fun, and impossible not to replay. The song captures the excitement of falling for someone and wanting more, while also leaning into that all-consuming feeling of thinking about one person nonstop. Everyone has had a “Holly” at some point: the person you can’t stop thinking about, the one you keep going back to.

With lyrics like, “I don’t want nobody else, so I’ll keep screaming it, HOLLY!,” the band captures that love and affection for someone special. It’s catchy, a little messy, and completely fun in the best way.

The music video only adds to the experience. Filled with poolside scenes, warm tones, and carefree summer energy, it perfectly matches the spirit of the song. There is an easygoing charm throughout, from the band jamming around a camper van to hanging by the pool and more. And if you look closely, there’s a blink-and-you-miss-it moment of drummer Garrison Burgess playing drums in the back of a pickup that adds to the chaotic charm.

The Band CAMINO has always known how to blend emotional storytelling with polished pop-rock hooks, and “Holly!” is another reminder of why they continue to connect with listeners in such a big way.

Fans will also have the chance to hear the song live very soon. The band is set to hit the road next month in support of 5 Seconds of Summer on the North American leg of the EVERYONE’S A STAR! World Tour. If The Band CAMINO's 2025 headline stop in Columbus was any indication, audiences are in for a treat when they take the stage this summer.
