The Number 12 Looks Like You rocked Hamden, Connecticut’s Space Ballroom hot off the release of their new album, Howls From The Holographic Heart. I was lucky enough to be in the audience for the show and hear them play their classics for an adoring fanbase that had come from various states around New England. No energy was spared, as both the band and audience were not shy about showing their enthusiasm and readiness to rock out.
One of the biggest surprises and highlights was when John Karel, a former drummer with the band, came out to play a few songs, getting the crowd even more engaged. There was also no shortage of interaction, with Jesse bringing out a wheel of dares for the fans, ranging from winning a free drumstick to having to crowdsurf in silence.
All in all, an amazing show is what I’ve grown to expect from the band, and they deliver every time. I absolutely cannot wait for the next tour!
