Motor City Comic Con is getting ready to return to the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, Michigan, November 13-15, 2026 for another incredible weekend. As guest announcements continue rolling in, excitement is already building for another weekend celebrating comics, movies, television, cosplay, gaming, and pop culture.

Having attended the spring convention earlier this year, I can confidently say Motor City Comic Con has become one of my favorite conventions to attend. Between the welcoming atmosphere, incredible variety of guests, talented artists, and how well organized the entire event was, it quickly earned a spot on my list of conventions I can't wait to return to. If you've been considering making the trip, November's convention is shaping up to be another fantastic weekend for longtime fans and first-time attendees alike.

While many announcements are still to come, the celebrity lineup is already off to a great start. Fans will have the chance to meet Shawn Hatosy, Jake Weary, Ross Marquand, Jack Dylan Grazer, and more throughout the weekend. As a huge fan of both Animal Kingdom and The Pitt, Shawn Hatosy and Jake Weary are two of the guests I'm personally most excited to see announced so far. Thankfully, November gives me the perfect excuse to rewatch Animal Kingdom before convention weekend arrives. Fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer will also be in for a treat, with James Marsters and Juliet Landau joining this year's lineup.

Motor City Comic Con has also begun revealing the comic creator lineup, with Amanda Conner, Reilly Brown, Scott Kolins, and many more set to attend. Whether you're hoping to add signatures to your comic collection, discover a new favorite creator, or attend creator panels throughout the weekend, the convention continues to bring together talent from every corner of the pop culture world.

One of my favorite discoveries during the May convention was just how much there was to experience beyond meeting celebrity guests. I easily spent hours exploring Artist Alley, browsing unique artwork, chatting with creators, and discovering independent artists and vendors I had never seen before.

Another highlight I'm especially looking forward to this November is seeing all of the incredible cosplay throughout the convention. One of my favorite parts of attending in May was walking the show floor and seeing the creativity, craftsmanship, and passion fans poured into bringing their favorite characters to life. Whether it's screen-accurate recreations, original designs, or elaborate group cosplays, the talent on display is always impressive. Cosplay has become one of the best parts of any convention experience, and I can't wait to see what everyone brings to MC3 this fall.

More details, including the full Artist Alley lineup, vendors, crafters, panel schedule, and the convention floor plan, will be released closer to November. As those announcements roll out, they're well worth following, especially if you're someone who likes mapping out your weekend ahead of time or prioritizing the artists, panels, and shopping stops you don't want to miss.

One thing Motor City Comic Con does exceptionally well is making planning easy. Their website is one of the most user-friendly convention websites I've come across, serving as a one-stop hub for everything fans need before the weekend. You can browse celebrity guests and comic creators, purchase tickets, autographs, selfies, and professional photo ops, explore hotel information, parking details, FAQs, and, as they're announced, the panel schedule, floor plan, artists, vendors, and crafters. Individual guest pages also include what each celebrity is known for, pricing information, and links to their IMDb profiles, making it easy to decide who you'd like to meet before ever stepping onto the convention floor.

If meeting celebrity guests is at the top of your list, I highly recommend planning ahead! Autographs, selfies, and professional photo ops for announced guests are already available to purchase online, and pre-purchasing can be a huge time saver during the weekend. Some of the convention's most popular guests can have nonstop lines throughout the day, and may even reach capacity before the day is over. Reserving your photo ops or autographs in advance not only gives you peace of mind, but also frees up more time to enjoy everything else Motor City Comic Con has to offer.

Tickets are already on sale online, with Friday Adult Passes available for $38, Saturday Adult Passes for $48, Sunday Adult Passes for $43, and Weekend Adult Passes for $105, plus applicable processing fees. Bringing the kids along? Children's tickets (ages 6-12) are $5 on Friday, $10 on Saturday, free on Sunday, or $15 for the full weekend. Children ages 5 and under receive free all weekend admission with the purchase of an adult ticket. As with previous conventions, ticket prices will increase at the door, making advance purchase the best value.

The VIP Fan Pass ($285 plus processing fees) is a great option for fans planning to meet several guests and make the most of the weekend. The package includes perks like reserved panel seating, expedited autograph and photo op lines, and other exclusive benefits.

The convention runs Friday, November 13 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Your wristband allows re-entry throughout the day, making it easy to step out for lunch or take a break before jumping back into the excitement.

Parking is available on-site on a first come, first served basis for $10 per vehicle per day and includes in-and-out privileges. Day-of parking is cash only, though fans also have the option to purchase parking in advance before arriving.

As more announcements continue over the coming weeks, the convention's website will continue to be the best place to find newly announced guests, ticket information, programming updates, the November floor plan, creators, artists, and everything else you'll need to prepare for the weekend. I also recommend following Motor City Comic Con on Instagram, where new celebrity and comic creator announcements are frequently revealed as the event gets closer.

After covering the convention this past spring, I walked away understanding why so many fans make Motor City Comic Con an annual tradition. It's a weekend that brings together incredible celebrity guests, talented artists, passionate cosplayers, and a welcoming community that makes fans feel right at home. With plenty more announcements still to come before November, there's never been a better time to start planning your trip. I know I'll be counting down the days until I'm back on the convention floor, and I can't wait to see what surprises this fall's event has in store.
