This past Saturday at The Dome in Virginia Beach I got to see two bands that reminded me why I love live music.
Common People opened the night and wasted no time making their presence known. A perfect reminder that a great opener doesn't just fill time, but sets the tone for the crowd.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise took the stage, and the night shifted. This was one of my bucket list shows, and I was so grateful to not only attend but shoot their set. The setlist leaned heavily into their latest album, bones, which translated beautifully to a live performance. This is the kind of music that hits differently when you're standing in a room full of people feeling the exact same thing. The energy switched between moments full of emotion, with the band standing together in a way that felt almost cinematic, and full blown crowd euphoria that filled every corner of The Dome with high energy.
If this tour is coming to a city near you, don't think twice. Nights like this are worth every second.
