Y'all, I don't know about you, but I'm currently living under a heat dome. The humidity is hovering around 95%, temperatures are climbing toward 100 degrees, and, frankly, I don't have the energy for nonsense. If you're feeling the same way, welcome to the club.

To make matters worse, your air conditioner can only do so much. I learned from the A/C repairman who came out yesterday that most residential systems are only designed to cool your home about 15–20 degrees below the outside temperature. So if it's pushing 100 degrees outside, don't expect your house to feel like an icebox. We're all just out here doing our best.

Rather than complaining about the weather (okay, maybe just a little), I did what any music lover would do: I built a playlist.

This mega mix is packed with the songs getting me through this relentless heat wave. Think poolside anthems, golden hour drives, lazy afternoons with the A/C humming, and those long summer nights that somehow still feel way too warm.

The playlist features favorites from my personal library, including RAYE, Adam Paddock, Sabrina Carpenter, and 5 Seconds of Summer, alongside a handful of tracks I rediscovered from my days as a radio DJ. Some of these artists may not be under the radar anymore, but every song earned its place on this seven-hour soundtrack to surviving summer.

Whether you're headed to the beach, hosting a backyard cookout, road-tripping with the windows down, or simply trying to make it through another scorching afternoon, there's a little something here for everyone.

Did I leave off one of your favorite summer songs? Let us know in the comments what you've been listening to this season—you might just inspire the next playlist.
