Day 2 of Otterfest at The Meadows was absolutely raucous fun, overflowing with energy, attitude, and whirlwinds of limbs. I was able to catch the first six bands of the day, and they all delivered on great music while keeping the pit in constant motion. I even took a few bumps myself while shooting throughout the day.
Upon arriving, I was greeted by nowordspoken(InPlainSight), followed by the striking Ephemera. Firing Squad came up soon after, with the lead singer regularly letting the crowd on the mic and even jumping into the pit. Next up were Bleed The Gods and Hivemind shortly after, both refusing to let up on the intensity and continuously building the energy in the room. Lastly, I caught Moonwaves, who came out with an incredibly cool look and followed it up with an insanely fun performance bringing them into the audience as well.
I had to leave shortly after, but I absolutely cannot wait for the next chance to see any of these incredible bands perform again.
